Default d16y8 oil pan on a d16z6?

what up peeps, My engine is being built and is almost done, but I have a question for you guys regarding the oil pan. I purchased a d16y8 oil pan because I sold my d16z6 pan along with my turbo setup, and also wanted to use the d16y8 pan cause its aluminum and I hered its better than any of the d16's oil pan, now I searched and hered people saying thats it different from the other d sereies oil pan but would like to know if theres anyway I can make it fit or if anyone has done this to their d16z6, any info would be great..thanks guys.

No they don't interchange.

Hell the aluminum pans are designed to not even use a pan gasket, only Hondabond and a small half moon gasket, while the steel pans require a gasket. The blocks are different in this respect too I'd imagine.

yeah that should be the same. it's like the same block. almost lol but it won't fit on the z6 block cuz the changed a some parts as the years pased, (like the water pump) (diff. bolt pattern) O yeah quick quest. does any one know if the y8 oil pump is diff. from a zc 89 oil pump. ???????????????????????????????????????
