Hey guys I have a problem and I'm not sure what it is so I'm in trouble shooting mode. Iv got a 99 civic ex with a d16y8 in it I recently just replaced the clutch in it and when I got the tranny and all back on and started the car it made a reall lound knocking noise ? So I took the tranny back off checked the clutch made sure it was aligned it was then I check if there could of been anything hitting the fly wheel there was nothing . Then I checked the bottom end there was no shavings or anything . So now I'm in the process of putting a z6 trans in it but idk if this will solve my problem any ideas ?

Buy or make a motor steth and pinpoint exactly where the knock is coming from.
