Quick question for u d-series experts, planning on doing a mini-me. I got a y8 head but no intake manifold came with it, would i be able to use my d15b7 intake manifold with the y8 head?

what year is the y8 head? there will be a number on the front, near the cam gear on the exhaust side.
99 = GASP, 1999!

lucky for you, it will work no problems
I am sure that you know that the z6 and y8 intake manifold are better performance wise though.

Yeah, you're basically retarding the engine It'll work (most of the 88-00 D-series parts are interchangeable, especially the manifolds) but honestly I would try and find a usable y8 or z6 manifold as soon as you can.
