Is it possible to use a D16y8 cylinder head on D16y7 motor? Would you need any other parts to make this happen? Or should it be fine?

Yes it will work and this is called a mini swap. Before the others nail you on here you need to read around and search this topic. When swapping that head over you need the ecu from a y8 (p2p i think) and to modify a few other things including your iacv. Search around and good luck

Thanks, I am just trying to do some research and find parts since my poor honda is at home waiting to be fixed. I've only come across the D16y8 cylinder head (my terminology is off since I dont know much) Just wanted to see if it was possible.
