Hey guys... I'm building up my d16y7 motor and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it'll work. And if so, how much quicker? I've got a delta stage 2 camshaft, additional cam gear, y8 intake manifold, after market fuel rail and injectors, head milled .040, 4-2-1 headers, 2 1/2" exhaust, and aluminum flywheel. Any opinions on how that would work out? Thanks!

I've got a d16y7, all I can tell you is swap!! I've found that it isn't worth spending $$ on my y7 anymore b/c in the end it's just a y7. I'm not going to suggest turbo b/c turbo IS NOT for everybody. You can just bolt that **** on and leave it like some pesky ebay intake. Turbo requires a persistent, deligent, dedicated mechanic, and besides if you're going to turbo you'll need a y8 or z6 head. DO NOT TURBO a y7!!!

All I can say is swap that baby out, leave that DX symdbol on the back and fool 'em everytime. I pray that there's nothing more liberating than killing somebody on the road, letting him catch up, and look at the expression on his face when he realizes he just got owned by a Civic with a DX symbol on the back.

we did a Custom turbo kit on a y7 back in 97'. 8psi boost hit 13.7 on slicks. STarion front mount intercooler, T3/to4b turbo, and other similar parts to a DRAG kit.

I think it those times are pretty good in my book.
