d16a1 clutch into 95dx HELP

Icon3 d16a1 clutch into 95dx HELP

i put the clutch out of a d16a1 and put it in my 95 dx and when i let out the clutch pedal nothing happens and it makes a weird noise does it need bleed? or is there a huge diff in pressure plate cause it bolted up no problem need to know asap thanks

isnt a d16a1 clutch for a cable trans and your 95 dx has tranny a hydro trans? sounds like thats a problem to begin with

yeah but i checked to make sure the flywheel would still lined up, i dont think that would affect to much how a clutch operates

Well normally when you let out the clutch and it makes a low sound like grinding its the throw out bearing. Or the pressure plate is starting to crap out.

nobody has tried this
the d16a1 clutch is a month old the clutch disk and pressure plate and i got it for free and my old pressure plate is bad so i installed it
also my slave cylinder the boot part on it came off and the rod that pushes the clutch fork came off my slave so is that bad? i just kinda put it back in
i would not think it being a cable tranny clutch would effect it cause it operates the same way

I know you can use an EF clutch on an EG. There were a couple different diameter discs, and a couple flywheel variations, but if everything bolts up and you checked that the disc slide onto the input shaft, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
