d16 VTEC engaging??
I can barley ever hear or feel my vtec kick in, i think half the time its not even working. Anyone else ever have this problem? Im thinking about getting Apexi VAFC.

man when my single cam vtec kicks in its mad, i think its going to break in my axles.
in all seriousness though, you wont feel the vtec "kick" in. it activates, just not like a dohc system.

for me when i'm driving i don't feel vtec kick in but when i let somebody drive and when vtec kicks in i can kinda feel it. weird.

unless you have very aggresive cams and pushing some crazy numbers, you won't really feel much of a difference in a SOHC when VTEC engage's. Some exhausts and intakes make the crossover more audible, but other than that there ain't much more to it

With a good CAI you can definitely hear the vtec when it engages, but yea unless your SOHC is built or has some sort of FI, I doubt you will feel a huge difference.
