d16 thermostat housing question
Does anyone know if a d15 thermostat housing will fit on my d16? I'm leaking coolant out of mine. I can get a d15 housing for free, its like 40 miles away so I don't want to drive and get it if someone knows it won't fit.

check out these two websites, look up the car with d16 and the one for the d15, and see if the part numbers are the same.

Is there anything physically wrong with the housing? It could be that you need to replace the o-ring on the water pipe or the gasket from the thermostat is pinched or not sealing correctly.
What part specifically is leaking? The housing itself wont ever leak unless you damage it.

Also take a good look at it some times the get really corroded and leak
You may be able to clean it up, remove all the crusted build up, put a new hose on it and be good.
But also look at the metal to make sure that is didn't corrode away & break, I have seen that happen too.
