Re: d16 swap (smokingemcee)
it does seem like a bit of a waste.. but seeing my current motor has 560,000 on it.. and it is on it way to well deserved retirment i figured i may as well up grade the motor for now.. bc i have no idea if i will be keeping the car for much longer.. so does anyone know buot the starter and if my trans will work right now?

Re: (rleonekc)
Some guy had his volvo or somehting on Leno a few yrs back, had it at over 1mil miles. What a waste though, all in a volvo... He had like 3 trans, 2 motors, etc.
Mostly all the stuff on the b7 will work with the z6. Most issues you might find you should be able to fix in no time.

WORD!
You should see some of the better made cars
Seriously, I'm not dissin hondas, but they're not exactly the aston martins of production here... Pretty much any car that you don't beat on (with a few exceptions like Kia, Geo/Chevy, Dodge, and some other names) will last u 500k if you take care of it, oil every 3, timing every 80 or so, probably replaced a few headgaskets... My friend just snapped his timing belt yesterday (about 10k overdue) on his jetta, didn't bend any valves (incredibly lucky if I do say so myself) but anyways its got like 400k on it (390 I think) with very minimal upkeep (changed headgasket once, timing belts, water pumps, tires, **** like that...)
Like I said, not htat honda isn't a good car, but u'd be surprised how everyday driving actually beats on ur car oppose to some of these tree huggers who push to get something rediculous like 55mpg out of a 3cyl by shifting at 1.4k RPM's and only using 10% throttle... That's mostly tree huggers and city commuters
