wouldnt you feel better knowing you tuned a SOHC to beat a DOHCs?
just because someone has made a choice to go against the grain doesnt mean you need to be an asshat and say it sucks ***. and im sure there are a ton of SOHC's out there making shitloads of power.

no, that would be a b16a SIR 1, automatic, with shitty cams. Puts down 2 foot pounds more than d16, stock. manual b16a's put down 6.

turbo on a d16 would be killer as hell, blow a bunch of b16's off the road with a turbo kit.

Thats my plan.

B16 I thought was 111ft/lbs torque. No one cares cuz if you want torque you'll go with a B18 or H22.

One cam, less rotating mass, less friction = less valvetrain loss, less maintenance, less weight. Its only downfall in my book is that the VTEC is on the intake side only, while the DOHC has it on intake and exhaust. Other than that, theoretically with the right cam, you could get the same power cuz you could match the cam timing and duration with a DOHC just do it all on one cam. And doesn't the SOHC have a better valve angle?
