Just keep your stock one. A short ram on a Z1 is pointless.

The stock intake arm and airbox. Forget the silly noisemaker intakes and enjoy your 52mpg.

QFT. Obnoxious noise is all you're going to get out of it. That, and a loss of low end torque, which is bad on an already torque-less economy engine.

Just measured an HF throttle body and its 1.75" (44.4mm), think it might be pretty close to that. Your best bet would probably to use the Y7 intake he gave you and go to home depot to the PVC isle and get a rubber drain coupling that goes from 2" to 3" and use that.
Looks like this:

If i am going to stick with my SOHC and later on turbo it, should i just buy a new intake manifold now. So that i am able to hook up the intake.

why would you turbo that motor, seriously? just drive it for mileage or swap in a D15B if you want to stay SOHC
