Default d15z1 question

i have a d15z1 and its a vtec-e engine i also have a comp stage one v tec cam. and i was told it will work in any d series vtec engines. but will it work in my vtec-e engine???

I don't think it would. I thought VTEC-E cams had two lobes per cylinder. (One high one low) While regular VTEC cams (Z6, Y8) Had 3 lobes per cylinder. (Two low one high) For the intake side that is. You might want to try call comp cams and asking them.
