d15b vtec collector size compared to a d15b7 collector
my friend gave me a d15b vtec header for wiring up his car for obd1.... i a quick search and didnt see anything. im wondering what the sizing difference is on these two headers, and would it be worth it to swap? i have a 2.25" exhaust with a bseries cat , no res, and a itr muffler.

knowing d-series headers... and owning a d15b previously.... i dont think it'll be worth the hassell....
aftermarket sohc headers can be found for cheap.... $80 cheap in my case...

well i already have the header, and it wont be a hassle to swap. i was just wondering if anyone knew the actual size difference before i even attempted, im assuming the d15b vtec is larger... but assumptions arent that great...

they are the same, Compare a 92-95 dx header to a D16z6 header and you will find that they are both the same. You should try and find a B16 Downpipe and bolt that up to your stock top half. It will make a little more power. Is youres a 4-2-1 design or a 4-1 design? if its a 4-1 switch you will feel a difference

Re: (Cripsaks808)
i'll go check and come back and edit... so a bottom half of the bseries header will work? the cat , i'm almost sure is an itr cat, 2.25". i had to weld on the stock flange so it would bolt up to my stock header. i would prolly have to change it back if i put a bseries on.
the d15b is 421, i couldnt get under my car enough to see the stock one, i assume it's the same.... but i see there is a physical difference between the header
