Is this a serious question?

Yes it will beat it, if you cant beat that...you need to learn how to drive.

Boost the D15B...these threads get so tiring...

Are you serious? Depending on the chassis' the motors are in, I can gaurantee that the d15-t (conservative boost) will NOT beat the B16 unless it is an EM! then maybe. There's no d15-t's that I know that would beat my Civic. Again I am assuming that we are not talking about an EM1 and that the d15 is 7-9 psi or so.

Granted...I believe he was referring to the EM1 as well as me. Of course, if the B16 is in a hatch, then yes...goodluck. My apologies for not being specific

My b16 swapped car is still an ek, and I know that a conservatively boosted d15 still wouldn't touch it. I am sure anything is possible, but I just don't see it happening in any other car than an EM1.

I know, thats what i just said lol.

You're EK is still a hatch right? Thats why i said goodluck if it was a hatch...an EM1 though, sure...a D15B-T would take it.

My friend's D15B turbo on 9lbs in an EG takes a lot of ****...No way around it, anything in hatches can have serious potential

My ek is a 2-door, but runs 14's.

BTW to the OP EM1 is the chassis code for the '99-00 Civic Si. Also knowing that the d15-t would be in a hatch, you should definitely keep up. That is why I was saying that it depends on what model cars these motors are in. If your buddy has an EM1 and you have the '93 hatch, you will beat him. If your buddy has a swapped B16, then maybe, but you surely wouldn't walk him.

99-00 SI = EM1

Is that what your friend's B16 is in?

That D15B boosted in a hatch should be pretty fun...if you know what you're doing. My friend's is sweet...

You SHOULD take him, im not assuring you that though.

It really all depends on what turbo, boost levels, and of course tuning. There are more variable than that, but thats the general idea.

Bro...this is what i was saying. If that B16 is staying planted in that heavy-*** EM1, then im almost positive his boosted D15B hatch will walk him. Although if the B16 is swapped into a hatch as well (which it is), then idk...it would depend on the setup of the turbo guy lol

bench racing is pointless.. get your turbo, then race him and tell us the outcome.
