D Series transmission help needed!
So I made a posty about my noisy transmission, and the general consensus was that it was the input shaft bearing. With help from some friends I'm going to replace my clutch as well as any bearing I can, including the input shaft bearing. Problem is, I don't know what all I need to buy. I'm getting a complete clutch kit that includes the throwout bearing and pilot bearing, but where in this pic is the input shaft bearing? Can somebody help me out? I want to be prepared for this job. Thanks!

the input shaft bearing is part 4 in the first picture and part 7 is the seal which you should also buy, every time I put in a used tranny or new clutch I replace the axle seals as well its easy

if you or your buddies dont know how to take the tranny apart and put it back together i wouldnt do it, it can easily be messed up

Re: D Series transmission help needed! (Timmay)
i replaced mine, as well as swaped gear sets to an EX gear set with a DX 5th gear, ive never ever done any other tranny jobs (involving removal of case) and everything came out just fine.... even after i left it open out in the rain for a week, and ruined the rest of the bearings.... Lynch transmission additive is a savior..

The guys that are doing it with me have done it plenty of times.....all I'm doing is gathering the parts.
Thanks sicones. Other than the seals...what else should I get?
