D Series rebuild
I want to know how much of a difference is there between the D16Y8 head and the D16Z6 head? im looking to rebuild my D series but all im finding out here is Y8 heads? and the aftermarket parts for the head that they have for D series are for Z6's so im kind of lost on what to do.
Thanks in advance.

dont rebuild any thing, just get a d15b-d16b engine and call it a day. i tryed to to what your going to do, but nothing went right, it was like 800-1k to rebuild it, so learn from hat i did and just get a jdm one you will save money, its $650 for the whole thing. youll thank me

Re: D Series rebuild
There used to be D15Bs on eBay from noname sellers for like $350. HMotorsOnline has D15Bs for $550 plus shipping right now (I know, we're not really supposed to kinda advertise, but everyone suggests HMO).
