The performance difference depends on many other things besides just the cam. If you put a cam in a stock car, it wont make much difference. But if you put it in a modified car and give it a new computer tune to go with the cam, you will notice a bigger difference.

Important thing you didn't mention was if it is a Vtec SOHC or a NON Vtec SOHC. There is a big difference. Many companies make cams for the SOHC. One company makes a new cam for the Non vtec SOHC and a few offer regrinds like exospeed. This is a very important difference as the Vtec cams will not work in non vtec motors.

the dx is non vtec, so you would need a non vtec cam

You really think people are holding websites for you to access because they know you will be asking?

Come on man...we only like to help those who help themselves. At least make an effort. Its not hard.

why do you want a cam, what do you think will happen with a cam in your dx.. ?

might wanna read up a lot more and get an idear of what your trying to do power wise. Adding a cam to a dx civic, gonna guess it's auto, turns a 17 second car into MAYBE a 16 car.. not worth it on the track or street... when you get passed by a ford 150...

learn about engine builds, like mine, or turbo, nos, until your in that magic 13 second or faster range it's just throwing apples at a french women ?

nm,., im drunk

Its just the fact that you dont even need webpages. Thats why we have google.

There is so much info RIGHT HERE on HT that you dont even need to go outside this browser. Here is a useful link...

Add that to your favorites.

Figure out what you want for a set-up before you buy stuff that your gonna have to put to the side & not use because of your set-up change. Boost, NA, or Nos all require different set-ups. Don't waste money. Build smart. I have a super badass turbo manifold for sale if you want to be the coolest kid on the block. I'll hook-up an amazing price if your interested. Good luck on your quest for power.
