d-series 3-ribbed alternator pulley?
Ok, here's my situation... jackson racing supercharger on a stock d16y8. the belt that drives the supercharger is the same belt that also drives the alternator (its different from a b-series) and the belt for the sc is 3-rib. now the pulley for the alt is 4-rib, and in order for it to be aligned correctly, when looking down at the pulleys, the 3-rib belt has to be on the inner 3 ribs of the 4 rib alt pulley. but no matter how much i tighten it (recommended 80 ft-lbs i believe), the belt always skips off the inner 3 to the outter 3 (a jump of one rib). everything runs fine and the belt isnt slipping, no loss of boost, etc, but at lower frequencies (1500-2500 rpm), the belt makes a squeaking noise against one of the idler pulleys and its getting *extremely* annoying.
my question is where can i find a 3-rib alt pulley for a d-series, oem sized or aem sized, since im running the aem pulley now with a slightly larger belt to accomodate. does anyone even make a 3-rib pulley designed for use with a jrsc?
OR.. if i could somehow "fill" that 4th rib of the pulley with something to keep the belt in place, would there be any suggestions there?

areu sure u have the right pulley on altenator? on both my d and b series motors, the altenator pulleys were 3 rib, as was the crank.... maybe you put the PS or AC pulley on the altenator?

Re: (dantastic)
no, im sure i have the right pulley. my stock pulley and belt that came off (as is the crank pulley) were 4 rib as well. actually, all my pulleys are 4 rib... its a 2000 d16y8.
