CV joint issues
Sooo I was driving my car home tonight and my cv joint popped out of the passenger side. This is not a new issue for me.....I actually paid 180 a piece for both my axles and they are supposed to have lifetime warranty. They are also supposed to be track tested and specifically designed for the H22 to EG swap , yet they keep breaking on me. My mechanic is saying that they don't warranty the part that is breaking which is the end part with all the grooves so he keeps rebuilding them for me but this crap is getting old. I told him today that I want the companies contact info for a refund or I am going to sue them. Thoughts anyone? What should I do? Does anyone know of any good axles I can get that wont break every 6-9 months?

Re: CV joint issues
H22 swaps just flat out have a poor axle angle. You can make axles as good as you want, but if you have a poor axle angle you're still going to have issues.

Re: CV joint issues
Company's make axles that go with thier mounts, so if ur using hasport mounts use the hasport axles for the swap as well. I've found every mount company like to position the engine just alil different from one another, makes mix matching axles a pain.
