Nope no immobilizer...i have a b16b and run the ECU no issues. Not saying it will run your engine correctly but there is no immobilizer

Re: (twinj)
I'm just curious as to why you want to run an ECU that is not meant for your motor? Especially looking for one meant for a 1.8l, the CTR ecu is close but still not the right one

Gotcha...the ITR ECU wold most likely make it run like **** too...the CTR is probably the closest...i would try to find the ecu for a b16 might be cheaper than a "CTR" ecu...but they have them on ebay all the time

I have a p28 that Redline at 8500, check engine shift light at 8K, Vtec engagement at 5800. Pretty close to a CTR i think and that is what i am use to. Plus the motors arent that different i don't think

Re: (twinj)
The only thing. The ones i find are the Si and they are obd2b which will not work. The only other option is to find the ultra rare del sol bseries vtec. Which wont happen. So CTR FTW.
