CTR - clutch noise - help
i started this thread on another site but didn't really get anywhere except causing an argument between some people. in my ctr swap there is a new exedy stage-1 clutch/flywheel...about 2 months old. the clutch has been making strange scraping noises after it gets warmed up.
this has gotten way worse over the last 24 hours. the scraping noise is much louder today than yesterday...it makes noise even out of gear, just going over bumps in the road. it is especially noticable from a start when shifted into gear. it almost sounds like that scraping you hear when your brake pads wear down to their warning tabs. only i know it's not the brakes, i just replaced pads two weeks ago.
