Default CTR cluster acting up

I've owned the jdm CTR cluster for about 3 years and this past week or so, I'm starting to come into problems. My RPM is accurate and good but my KM is jumping all over the place when I accelerate.. What do you guys/gals think could be the problem? Do you think my reprogrammed P28 ecu is sending wrong signals????? Thanks in advance

Vehicle speed sensor. It plugs into the top of the transmission and is what sends the speed signal to the cluster.

Also check to see if the tranny ground is still in good shape.

i had that problem on my stock gauges for my hatch and i went out and bought a VSS for over a $100 from honda and it didnt fix the problem so try to borrow someone elses and see if it fixes it because honda wont let you return it but my actually turned out to be the speed head (or something like that in the cluster) but they can replace that but i just bought a new cluster w/ a tach good luck
