I heard today that somone makes a kit to put a c30a1, (nsx motor), into an ek civic. the kit supposable costs 3K. is this true? ifso who makes the kit, and has anyone sen this done.

I recently did a photoshoot with a guy who owns several Ferraris. Really sharp guy and knows his stuff. He said that on a trip to Japan he had seen an EK Civic with an NSX motor swap done. I want to say by Spoon, but it could have been another well known tuner (maybe Mugen?) synonymous with Honda that did the swap. It was a one-off, or maybe two-off. But I wasn't aware that there was a kit for it... Interesting.

if you look on the signatures of JG luder or lildragon, they have listed the company that is building their prelude, the company is doing a NSX CRX project that you can read about, but that is about the closest i have seen.

i was watching an import show on speedvison and they had a crx with a nsx motor in it. the motor mounted onto their crazy *** rollcage. It was pretty damn intresting.

mahdavi motorsports in georgia has done this swap. They have vids of it running 11's at the track. I'm pretty sure it was custom swap.

Yes Madhavi Motorsports in GA has an NSX motor in the back of a CR-X. It ran high 11's on nitrous, but the motor blew up.

Very cool project, but certainly no bolt-in kit.

how much would an nsx engine cost if you could even locate one, and arent they rear wheel drive would you have to conver to rear wheel or can you bolt up a bseries tranny somehow?

youre talkin/thinkin about the signal auto EK that has the NSX swap...they revamped their old chop top hatch and made it into an all motor car and put on a EP one piece front end. this in no way is just a drop in effort....if you win the lotto...look into this swap
