crap headers?
i got a problem here.... ordered some headers off ebay thinking they would be ok
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
i have a few questions....when i got them the top flange that bolts to the head the drilled holes are way off..i tried to aline it with the gasket and it was wayyyyy off
they are suppose dc 4-1 rip offs but they have a 2" collector and i know dc has 2.5"
soo they arent the same...they are carb eo
when i bought my car it came with a HKS cat back exhaust..
bolted to my stock headers...soo does this mean the HKS piping 2"?
and if i got new headers with a 2.5" how would it bolt beside going to a muffer shop and getting them welded...
and i have heard of good brand also having problems with top flange not being drilled right....so is it worth it drilling them or dumping another 400 and going an-r's?

DC's larger collector header is not carb legal, only the smaller one is, both the 4-1 and the tri Y.
You'd have to have a little custom work done to make everything bolt up. Unless you have the tools and skills, you might have to visit your local muffler shop.

Wow it's 2in?! Thats pretty small. It's still bigger than stock, and it's got a smoother flow without the harsh kinks of the OEM cat back.

Re: crap headers? (Jagged edge)
Thats why you don't buy stuff like that off of ebay. I guess you had to learn the hard way. Oh, btw, its 'header' not "headers".
