Icon2 Crank pulley

I just need to know what size bolt the crank pulley is for the d16z6. And how to get it off and if it has any distinguishing numbers on it or anything. I plan to run around in the junk yard tomorrow and try to find one cheap (its $16 at my junk yard). From what ive read its really hard to get off and hard to tighten without the hold tool? lol Any help is appreciated.

Check the Honda Civics EX/Si /Del Sol Si 1992-1995 in the yard. They have the D16Z6 engine. The bolt is 14 mm x 29 mm in threaded length, per bkhondaparts.com. For the junkyard, and to immobilize the crankshaft while you apply torque to the bolt, you could probably get away with stuffing the cylinders with rope via the spark plug holes. Else see http://sites.google.com/site/hondali...eyholdingtools . You need the hex design of holding tool for re-installation.

Thanks..ima def. have to get the hold tool for re-install. Hodna is the first make where I couldnt just turn loose the impact gun! lol

Edit: As far as the ecu connectors. If I wanna make my own jumper harness should I take the connectors and wires going into the ecu of the same ^ mentioned makes/models?

So far my 3 honda's does not use the crank pully holder tool, they are not hex, and they are rounded. grrrrrrr. Brought the tool for nothing..
But if you going to the junk yard, bring a pry bar (pry from the starter/flywheel), 17/19mm socket, breaker bar, and a cheater bar. Don't forget you need someone to hold the breaker bar.
