A couple quick questions...
I'm swapping a b16a3 from a 95 (OBD1) del sol into my 99 Civic EX (OBD2)
1) Can I bolt up an obd2 dizzy to the obd1 motor? I know the conversion has been covered, but can't I just bolt up the obd2 dizzy to the obd1 motor and plug it in to my stock harness?
2) Is an obd2 intake manifold required, or can I re-use the del sol one? Lastly, if I remember rumors correctly, the ITR manifold is the sought after manifold in regards to b-series correct?
Thanks to anyone for the help.

The obd2 distributor will bolt up to the motor, but the OBD2 dizzy plugs are different than whats on your wire harness. You can take any obd1 (sohc & dohc) dizzy and clip the plugs. Then unpin them from the obd1 plugs and repin your obd2 dizzy wiring with the obd1 plugs.

The manifolds are pretty much the same. I think there are a couple of small differences between the obd2 99-00 SI and obd1 p30 manifolds like the angle the coolant nipple on the valve under the throttle body comes out.. and you may want to check differences in throttle body coolant and vaccum lines between obd1 & obd2 b16's.. i dont know what they are off hand and while im at work... but nothing big. For the most part its going to be plug & play.
I personally like the long runners of the p30 manifold over the short ones on the ITR manifold. Its just preference and where you want your power increases/losses to be. If you wanting to upgrade manifolds, do your self a favor and get a skunk2 manifold and have your stock throttle body ported/match port your manifold. Then you'll see a difference in power.

That was the real question, because my wiring harness is obd2 so as long as the obd2 dizzy bolts up to the motor, then it will just be plug and play.

Right, so it says the manifold should be perfect, the only questionable part would be the throttle body. So maybe the si throttle body with the p30 manifold. I will most likely end up getting the skunk2 manifold down the road, I just at least want to get the swap in and running first priority.
Thank you so much for your response, it's much appreciated.

Its deffinately beneficial to match bore your manifold to your throttle body. On a semistock b16 i wouldnt go anything bigger than 64 or 65mm though. Anything bigger your going to be loosing power instead of gaining it.
