Couple questions about routine coolant flush...
It's about time for my routine coolant flush on my 00 Si. What is the recommended brand of coolant (I know the Helm's says "Honda brand only...")? Also, is it true I should change my thermostat whenever I do a routine coolant change? Is the OEM one a sufficient replacement?

Thermostats are good for at least 50k + miles and maybe your question should be is an after market stat sufficient. Get an OEM if you have time. I'm not sure about the best offbrand coolant to recommend.

Yeah I'm a big fan of the OEM parts so I wanted to make sure the Honda thermostats were decent for replacement or if an aftermarket one was recommended.
Anyone else on the coolant?

how long has it been since your last flush? id just go to a shop and have them test your coolant...unless you are having overheating problems or you just are **** about these things i dont see a need for it in the first place.
