Couple concerns w/ my d16y7
First it only has 51,000 miles and it does have some bolt-ons....
First concern is only in the morning or if the car has been sitting for like 4 hours. When i first start my car there seems to be a very loud squiling from one of my belts. It does go away after i drive for a little while. Seems to be coming from AEM pullys. Also it does not do this during the winter, only in spring/summer temps. What belt do you think this may be?
Second, after putting headers, exhaust, intake, short shifter and bushings and other performance parts, is it normal to have the shifter vibrate more. My shifter vibrates a lot and even stronger when i turn AC on. I also have an irratic idle, what could cause this?

Remove your PS belt and see if it goes away. If not, it is your AC. If so, it is your PS.
What bushings? Shifter bushings or engine mount bushings?
Basically if you stiffen up the car, you're going to feel it.

Describe irratic idling please.
Maybe your belts just need to be tightened up a bit.
And as Spade said, you stiffen things up and you'll feel a bit more vibration.

Re: Couple concerns w/ my d16y7 (speedehatch)
yeah that whine is def. comming from one of your belts, I remember when I put my power pulleys on the altenator was a pain to get tight, you really need 2 people for that, I did it myself and haven't had any problems. We also put some on my brothers civic and I was using a pry bar while he tightened the altenator that made it soo much easier. I'm sure it's not the ps belt if you tightened it up enough. Try not to get them too tight or they'll wear out quicker. And for the vibration I'm sure it's comming from those bushings, the same goes for solid motor mounts, they won't break but you sure do feel the vibration.
