Default Coupe grill on a sedan?

I just want to know if the grill from a 96-98 Civic coupe will fit a sedan. This guy on Ebay told me that it won't fit. I mean they look the same though. The OEM ones, not aftermarket.

It fits, but only if you use the entire grille. The grille shell (chrome/painted part) won't fit on the other grille types.

I was thinking about getting the coupe grill, but taking the chrome piece from the sedan grill and put it on to the coupe. Would that work? I'm getting the OEM ones. NOt aftermarket.

No. I just told you in the previous it won't.

I have a "sedan" grille (OE) on my coupe. You need to use the whole thing. You can't just put the chrome part on and use the rest of the coupe grille or visa versa.
