Default any cool del sol headlights?

i seriously can not find any clear headlights for my del sol. all i can find are clear corners which would be cool but they wont match oem headlights and that would look like crap. also i like the black clear corners but are there and black headlights to match? or any other cool ideas for headlights would be helpful. i was thinking about making projector lights by covering the headlight in fiberglas for a mold. but in the mean time i would like clear corners and headlights. thanks.

If you search the web (H-T, del sol forums, etc.) you would see that the only replacement you can buy is the JDM one piece but you will have to shell out about $500 for the set.

Do what i saw in a Japanese magazine. Some guy in japan put EK civic front end on his car. (I know that EG civic front ends bolt right on) that way you have more options. Tons of people on clubsi get rid of 96-98 honda civic front ends to swap to 99-00. so there you go have fun.

ugh! i seriously done understand why one would put a civic front end on a del sol. thats like putting a celica front end on a supra or a sunfire front end on a firebird. why go from alot cooler looking to alot less cool looking? but to each his own. i suppose i shall attempt the fiberglass projector lights. This will be a very FUN project, i love fiberglass : /

yes to each his own. I liek the EK front end the most of all civics. but hey good luck on the projector. (wouldnt be eaiser to get a stock headlight and modify it for HID?)

yeah modifying stock lights would be easiest. that way it would mount the same and it would be easier to make the lights straight and level but i dont know if its worth it to spend the money on an extra set of headlights.

Not a direct bolt-on. The fenders do not match up - they must be fabricated from half of the Civic fender and half of the Sol fender.

'96-98 front ends are ugly - that's why everyone gets rid of them in favor of the '99-00 front.

quit being a ricer and leave good enough alone

and the 96-98 front end is the best thing to hit the roads since pavement.

see thats not a bad idea. you are taking to equal cars and mixing them. actually i think the sunfire front end is ugly so putting a cavalier front end on it is cool. my whole point is that why would you take an uglier front end and put it on a cool car. i.e. camaro front end on corvette (although it would be hell to fit it on), now if you could get a corvette front end on a camaro that would be cool.

i think those projectors are kinda goofy . im not trying to be mean but they just look odd. ive got some pretty cool ideas for projector lights and also for some paintable covers that will look sweet. ill post pics as soon as i get them started. also i might plan on selling some of anyone would be interested after seeing pics.
