Cool air intake

Re: Cool air intake (hondablaze)
There is no way to get the air in the engine bay cool enough.
The true principal of the CAI design is to re-route the piping from the engine's intake to an air source in the fender or bumper, instead of inside the engine bay.

Strap a bowl of ice near your intake or take your hood off or strap a giagantic fan mounted uptop blowing on your engine..

Re: Cool air intake (hondablaze)
Cooler air intakes generally make power through a combination of filter location and intake pipe length.
Temperature differences between underhood "hot" air and outside air isn't as big as people would like you to believe. Of course, at idle, there is a big difference, but not as much as when the car is moving.
You can fashion a duct to get air to your filter...

AEM sells a cold air intake for your car. A little pricey though . If you get one make sure its for dx,cx or lx. I have got the wrong one before.
