Converting to ABS?

it's not worth it... you'll need to add the abs control module, and then the sensors need to be tapped and new brake lines need to be run... save yourself some trouble and just stick with the plain 4wheel disc setup.

Yes, I did get in a wreck. I hit a concrete wall going about 35mph after my wheels locked up. I also bent my brand new tein strut and managed to snap my brake rotor, a good chunk of it lying on the ground and my rim when I came to a stop.

ABS will help when you lock up your brakes, but the best thing to do is to practice hard braking. It's free, and will give you better results than just installing ABS.
The trick is to keep pressure on the brake pedal just at the threshold of your tires starting to lock. You should just start hearing your tires sqeal a little bit when you get it just right.
Practice makes perfect ... using my gtech I got my 60-0 braking distance from 180 feet on my first try down to around 110 feet.
Just make sure to give a few minutes between braking attempts, because you don't want to cook your brake fluid

Yea, this was just around a sharp turn I should have taken literally 15-20 mph, and it wasn't well-marked until I came over a hill and saw a small little arrow sign. braked-- pulled towards wall. braked more-- wheels locked up and hit the wall about 30-35 mph. happened way too fast to be able to correct anything. just a mistake on my part for coming over that hill too fast.

Yeah, I'm not claiming the Gtech is accurate. In fact, it wasn't ideal conditions, as I was going slightly up-hill. However, the point is that with practice I reduced my braking distance by about 60%
