Re: Convert ECU (murmur9)
If you look at the ECU board you will see a spot marked RP18, in that spot you need to add a 4.7K-5% resistor. Just find an electronics store someplace around you and tell that that you need a resistor with those specs and they will know what you need. Then when you get it just solder it into RP18.
When you go get resistors you should make sure that they are the same size (physical dimensions) as the ones in there now and it will make the soldering a whole lot easier.

Re: Convert ECU (yuckymucky)
ok thanks a lot, one more quick question...i seen it posted before...if i just solder it...it will still work...it wont take away from resistance or whatever? can i use a typical soldering iron that my dad has, or do i have to get one with a extremely small tip? should i avoid using too much solder or whatever its called? i did a swap...i should be able to do this right?

Re: Convert ECU (murmur9)
The only way that you will want to do it is solder it. Any soldering iron will work, but I would go for a small tip as you have a small dot to hit. You shouldn't need to add any solder more then what is already there, and if you do just a small amount so that it doesn't hit anything else that it is around.
