Conversion Confusion...
Alright guys....I am about to start work on my EG hatch soon. And I kind of want to do something that no one has tryied or that I have seen around the scene. For the rear I want to try something like this:
But with that rear, I can't really keep the front end nor '00 front end conversion. I need to maybe lean on the european side? Now, does anyone have any suggestions for a front end. And please, opinions are welcome. And let me know if my idea would end up on the "silly conversion" thread.

In my humble opinion. The only conversion that looks good is a Del Sol with a front end from a 1993-1995 Civic coupe. There is a picture of a silver one around here... and it looks like it was meant to be.

haha this is great....
It was just an idea that I thought up yesterday and I wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
Maybe it just looks good on the actual Golf.

Re: Conversion Confusion... (aaaallll04)
ask yourself what kinda car do you want before you spend the money on it.
A show car! that will score lots of points.
Or
A street car with some Go or a Track car.
i havent seen a civic with that kind of conversion VW back lights it thats what you are saying.
but shouldnt this be in cosmetic appearance

Re: Conversion Confusion... (civicHBphtride)
Well the car I want is something clean that no one has. And I dont want a show car at all. I am putting in my built b18c1 and boosting it. This post is just for opinions and just to see if there is anyone else who agrees with me on this sort of idea.
And I was thinking about cosmetic appearance, but I figured EG owners would have more of an idea...

something clean that no one has? might want to think of another car, other than a honda.
edit: not saying it as an insult, just that honda's have been done, and done again. Now we're taking parts from another country to be more "unique". but, most of the "clean" honda's look alike, save for wheels and paint. If you want something unique, i'd recommend a different make/car. Maybe an old Z?

hahah
I guess its kool if your going to show it...
As a daily driver, i would put the thousands thats going to cost into the motor/turbo kit. I know that a 400+ hp honda gets my attention way more then all that cosmettic ****.

Re: (Vero)
haha well there is more to just sticking the back end on there. I am going to raise the roof so it isnt slanted down (like it is stock)....well there is going to be alot of work. And I am going to be doing alot of it myself...
I already have a good motor and the turbo will come when I need it.

why not just get an 88-91 hatch? honestly, you're going to mess with the frame and it wont be worth it. If you want to do something different, do a veilside kit. You said money wasnt a problem. Thats one hot kit thats aero prooven.
