AEM CAI, forget short ram. Fits great, noticeable power increase, and a freaking awsome sound. I even picked up 2 mpg or so! I love it, just try and find the best price.

***As for the bypass valve, maybe get it if you drive through lots of deep puddles or have a really low car.***

At stock hight on my civic looks like i would need to drive though a 10 in puddle for the CAI to be totally covered... now how often would you be doing that? However if you car is really low it might be a good idea!

Summery: GO AEM CAI!

I dont think it really matters. I say there is a diff between short ram and CAI, but dont think there is a diff between brands of the same item.
Get an Ebay CAI for $35

or DIY true air intake. where was that air scoop out of the headlight someone had? that was freaking awesome. 50state non-legal tho. i'm sure that's way more pwr than a cai.

yes one of the reasons to buy the CAI from AEM is the CARB sticker. Legal is good. DO you really want to switch out the CAI for stock when you smog? Plus if a cop checks under da hood....

Bigger issue here in cali for sure.

Good Luck!

Pffft intake, just take the intake off and put panty hose over the throttle body.

But if i had to pick one, APC, Arospeed, or definatley go with the flame thrower brand.

Nooo NO PANTY HOSE!

don't do that I hope you are being sarcastic... that will ruin you're engine in no time!

If you aren't in cali just get a $35 ebay CAI, if you are in cali then get the AEM it's worth the $150 bux.
