I have a 1995 Del Sol. The latch that the door attaches to when it shuts is rusting out on the four corners of the latch. Is their anything i can do to prolong extensive body work?

Hey NOFX, great thread!

Noticed the 92-95 Engine you have none. Seem to have missed this TSB:

Don't know if it would be covered.. but I have had 2 honda Civic EX cars the first a 95 and the one now a 94. On both cars the Hood Release Handle on the inside of the car broke. Then there is the interior and exterior Plastic Door Handles.. right now I have a rear door that the outside handle is broken and the child lock is on so I can't use the door.. also when trying to close the hood it seems to not close all the way and you have to basically sit down in the hood to get it to close. I know it's all stuff I can fix but since it's a wide spread problem in many civics it would be nice to have it covered.

Those items wouldn't be covered on a 20 year old vehicle. Plastic parts break after years upon years and there is not TSB's or recalls on handles as it's 20+ years before they may have an issue (my 93 and 95 don't have any of those issues).

Front Windows Bind or Have Come Out of the Run Channel ('96-'98 coupe)
Faulty run channels. Inspect regulator and run channels and replace if damaged.
TSB 97-021

(none)
I fixed this problem permanently on my civic. I found it wasn't the run channel that was the problem, it was because it was coming off the track (roller brackets) itself. You will see a dimple at the end of the track which is supposed to stop the roller from going any further, it doesn't and that is why the windows fall out of the channel. All I did was use a punch and make it deeper to make sure it actually stopped the roller from going any further and that fixed it. I haven't had the issue in over two years and no longer have any binding issues.
