Color code help...
...just picked up a 1998 Civic LX sedan, it is like a mix between the dark blue and the light silverish blue. Anyone know what color it is actually called? And post a picture so I can verify that it is correct, since I haven't gotten a chance to take a picture yet. Thanks in advance!

Why not? Spend $400 for a rack system, damn right I'm going to have it on my daily driver. Dailys don't have to look pretty. Driver side has some damage to the door, but I could care less, haha.

Next time, here's what you do.
What is my color code and name?
Open your driver's door.
Look for your color code.
On two door models the color code is usually near the door latch. On four door (or more doors) models, the color code is usually in the bottom corner of the door, way under the latch.
If your car is ___, the color code will probably start with ____...
Blue = B
Blue Green = BG
Green = G
Neon or Green Yellow = GY
Black, White, Grey or Silver = N or NH or W
Purple or Pink = PB or RP
Red or Maroon = R
Yellow = Y
Gold = Y or YR
Brown, Beige, Orange, Bronze, Gunmetal = YR
If your color code ends with a -4, disregard that.
Now, get online and do a Google search for "Honda" and your color code.
For example, if you were to find your color code and it read R-81-4 (which is a common complete color code), then you would search for "Honda R-81". You should get results showing that your paint is called Milano Red Tricoat.
Btw, Roma Red is the only modern Honda color that actually always has a -4 at the end.
