Default coilover sleeves + KYBs - need help!

hi, so i recieved my new Skunk2 coilover sleeves and when i went to fit them i noticed that the cup on the rear catches on the piece you twist to adjust. This means i cant slam my ride as much as i'd like to and is probly not safe to ride with all weight on the outside of the cups instead of inside. Anyone know a way round this?
iv attached a pic from JDMU to show you what i mean...

i believe in the instructions it says you may need to cut the perch down so the sleeve sits flush.

You sure you dont have the fronts and rears switched around? I know on my GC's, the rear sleeves have a longer smooth unthreaded section at the bottom so that the threads dont start till above the shock cup. The fronts have it too, but much shorter.

so let me get this straight you wonna totaly slam the **** out of your car. As low as it goes, right?

Did you ever think of the camber kit??

Yes cut off the perch, but I don't understand why you even wonna go that low.

No, not as low as it goes, i still have to use this car as a daily driver so im wanting to drop it around 2 and a half inches. And yes i have thought about a camber and i will be buying a camber kit as soon as money allows!
