coilover Question
I got an '95 civic EX coupe and I had some cheap coilovers installed on it. I have it lowered maybe 1.5'' or so. Well any ways to avoid scrapping when I pull in/out of driveways I attack them at an angle(duh), but I noticed that when one of the rear wheels gets picked up (due to the uneveness of the ground) it clunks when it levels back out on even road. The coilovers are just compressed by the gravity of the car. The shocks on my car are still stock. I'm no proffesional at suspension but it seems odd to me that the coilovers just sit freely, and whenever the car is lifted up it makes a clunk noise when the car comes back down. How are coilovers SUPPOSED to handle 3 wheel motion (pulling in uneven driveways) and how can I fix the clunk?
Any help would be much appreciated :-)

Re: coilover Question (^LORTA^)
i have tanabe ss coilovers.. there is a helper spring on it so u dont hear the clunk sound.. i believe the sound is from the spring coming down and shifting back into place. were as with the helper spring there is always a load on the spring so it doesnt move.
