Coil-Overs
I'm new to the site. Maybe this has been discussed before. If so I apologize. Does anyone know where I can get a good coilover setup for my 97 Ex coupe? Full set and prices would help. Thanks

it'd be easier if you told us your budget min to max and what your looking for. will the car be auto-x or just driven on the street.
some of the usual recommendations are:
Ground-Control (GC)/Koni Yellows
Buddy Club N+
Tein SS or Flex
Omni Power
Prices range from $649 for Omni to $1000 for some of the rest. Each has different spring rates, so thats where knowing what you want to do with the car will help, also is this for EG (92-95 or EK (96-00)?
search around for the above, or check out robearracing.com, they've got the best prices i've seen on the Tein and Buddy clubs.
Koni yellows are $460 shipped and GC is $339 + shipping to give you an idea what that will cost

Or, get fucked and spend more money to fix it. Spend more the first time around.

yeah get some teins or some other full coilovers like omni or apexi.. they all ride great.. its better than buying coilovers and another set of shocks..

$350? for shocks and springs? don't waste your money, save up atleast and i mean minimum $500. for $500 you can get KYB AGX and a good spring like H&R Sport or Race if you want real low. $350, you can take that...spend $20 on beer, get drunk, wake up and come to your senses that suspension is probably not something you want to cheap out on. cheap = danger or double the cost since you'll realize it should be done right. hell, aligment alone is what $60-$70 over there?
$350 won't even buy used spirng+shock setup i(n ING Dirct voice...Save, your money)

You could always find a setup for $350 and then just break your **** and be out $350. Or you could put another $350 up and spend $700 on a quality kit.

My friend has K-sports and loves them, they were a little expensive too. If you buy used suspension, there is a reason why its for sale. Don't get stuck with someone elses problem and buy new.

Alot of times people get in an accident and total their vehicles and have nothing to do but part it out. They make hella good money doing this and you save alot by finding these deals. Hell, If I find a full GC setup for $400, I'm jumping on it. GC is quality ****.

Exactly. Used doesn't mean it's been beat on, how can you beat on suspension? Who intentionally hits speedbumps hard, or goes in holes? lol
