Default clutch question

So yesterday i drove my car and it just died on me. i came to a stop and tried putting it in a gear and it will just sit there. i would let go of the clutch while its in gear and no stall or anything. i hear something near the clutch sounding like its spinning.

The engine is a b17 and it has a cable tranny.

Can i use any b series clutch wit a cable tranny or do i need to buy a special clutch?

Please fastest way to contact me is call or text at 305-305-2968.

thank you and any input is much appreciated.

not on here much so let me know via phone please.

thank you
chris

yes it could be anything in there. But IMO it's the TOB. It's hard to tell not being there. Yes check the cable too. May be it broke.

How many miles on the clutch ?

Call one of the shop's that support this sight and talk with them. They will help you and get you what you need.

Danny Smith at Spec Clutch is a good guy, he's turbor@spec or something like that on here. Check the drag racing forum, you'll find any number of good links to shops

Oh... how about a broken input shaft?

You can put the car in gear with the engine running and you foot off the clutch pedal ?

That's not good...
