Default Clutch question

I have a 96 honda civic...with a b16 block and a civic type r trans....The clutch is slipping. There is currently a stage 3 act clutch with a fidanza flywheel. The issue is. Im not sure if I would buy a clutch for a b16 or for a type r since thats what the trans is. I have a feeling i would buy one for a b16. Any input would be good

buy one that matches the tranny, But if the b16 is 92-00 and the tranny is too then any b series clutch will work.

is there a way to determine the year of the tranny? I am pretty sure the b16 is 92-00

just get the clutch for a hydro tranny, it'll fit fine, all hydro tranny clutchs are switchable. if it's a type r tranny, it would be hydro.

yeah get a 99-00 si clutch or 94-01 integra clutch, any trim (ls,rs,gsr, type r) as long as your tranny is hydro, which it should be unless you converted it to cable. all b sereis hydro trannys have the same clutch as far as the way they fit.
