One of my friends has a 2001 civic coupe ex and well the repo man came to see him last night. He has a stage 3 clutch and flywheel that he is willing to give me very cheap ($300) but i'm not sure if it will work with my car. He thinks it does but neither is sure. I have a 1995 civic coupe ex with a d15b. Will this work? I have also heard that a stage 3 will rob me of torque but that was from one guy that I'm not to sure about his knowledge. Any help plz. thanks in advance.

now he is trying to tell me that it will work on a d serries up to 2001 but won't work on any year after that i asked for his eng code and he thinks it's a d17a does anyone out there know what eng is stock in a 2001 civic ex? if the clutch is comp.?
