clutch acting up..need some help
well my 93 coupe has been boosted for about 3 weeks now but the f1 clutch stage 1 clutch has been in for a lil over a year now. when i warm here up she grabs strong like usual but when i have been driving for about 40 min it doesnt feel like it now really boosting but i know it is.i will put it in 2nd to see if it will pull to redline but it doesnt really pull like it does when i first start driving it . its not shooting to redline like most clutches do when they start slipping. i trying to figure out if it just the clutch warming up and its getting soft or what becuase thats what it feels like. its like soon as i get to about 4000 it almost fel like it just revving but not a shoot to reline rev if that makes any sense
plus my homboy in his evo does the same thing after a couple of launches his starts to slip could it be that it time for another clutch.. thanks in advance

Re: clutch acting up.. (dewoine)
When my clutch started slipping in my boosted car, i had no problems at all burring the tach... so i don't think thats your issue, but who knows.

Re: (ZipTieGuy)
thats what im thinking too now becuase it has a very slow leak under the dash in the floor board from the clutch slave but it would never slip like this im thinking with the extra power its doing it just trying to figure it out but if it is the clutch slave that is going bad then is this part hard to change is is it very expensive?
ive looked at the omni brand but right now its out of my reach as far as price so will a oem work prety good?

Its not hard to change, little cramped for working area, but thats about it. Depending on where you live maybe a little pb blaster on the line, so you don't wreck it when you remove it from the cylinder. Just make sure you got a friend to help you bleed it, or a board
