So I had my car(99si) tuned the other day and upon starting the car I noticed that the tach was not working. The tuner said that it was something in the cluster, because the computer was reading the rpm just fine. It's a stock cluster. So my first question is:

1. Is there a way to fix the tach? Maybe it is a loose wire in the cluster itself that can be re-connected?

And secondly, the cluster lights do not work when the lights are on. The question here is:

2. Are these two problems associated? Could it be the bulbs are just out and need replacing? or should I figure out the tach problem first; Just to see if I need a new cluster anyway?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well your first step should always be to check fuses in the fusebox under the steering wheel.

All the fuses are good! I did figure out that the running lights were because of the adjustment **** not being plugged in. But haven't figured out why the tach isn't working. I have another one, I just want to figure this one out so that I can sell the other one.
