Re: Climate control in an eg6..... (E.Honda)
I thought I saw a post on here before or it might have been on another forum, where the guys said he was gonna be "O-G" and change the entire system to the JDM electrical one with the temp sensors, but I didn't see a follow up to it.
So far I think people are still doing the front face swap with the amber bulbs, as it's cheaper that way.

Re: Climate control in an eg6..... (Sasebonian)
I have the complete wiring harness but no clue as where to splice in to my harness....... Changing the harness is out of the question as some of the plugs are not the same..........BTW I have two climate control head units if anyone is interested on making an offer.
Set of black 95 ex bucket seats with sliders for sale............Mint........no burns non smoker car........Make reasonable offer.......lo-ball offers will be ignored.

It's not feasable. The JDM climate controls are auto. You will need the harness and all the related sensors. I still have never heard of anyone getting it to work correctly in a US car.

you cannot tie in a JDM climate control UNLESS you get all sensors and completely swap over our current system, which is a cable driven system, to an all electrical system. a lot of work. i started to look into it, and changed my mind. so not worth it considering all the work needed for a damn climate control of all things.
your best option is just to swap the faces... take the JDM one off, and install on USDM climate control. and put in amber bulbs. good luck with whatever you decide to do.

thats exactly what you do. wiring in an actual jdm climate control is a bitch.

I swapped it in last week. It will not work. The JDM harness is physically too big for our USDM harnesses'. I suggest swapping the faces on them.

Explain this to me then.
I have the whole harness, sensors and heat/a/c assembly......I have the controls.....
It would seem to me all I have to do is get power to the system.
I don't see how it could be more complicated than that.
I just need to find the power wire (s) I would think.
