clicking noise after vtec engagement.
Hey honda-tech whats up, I got gsr in my eg and after I get into vtec and let go of the gas or shift i somtimes hear a clicking noise. and one time when I got on it in first gear and hit vtec and then let off the idle was fluctuating up and down like it had a bad IAC, but then like 5 seconds went by and I heard a loud click sound and the idle went back to about 900. I was hoping maybe someone on here has had this problem.

the solenoid was clean. I also have a code and it is a code for vtec oil pressure, I will get more info on the code.

Vtec oil pressure is a code that is thrown when your engine does not have enough oil pressure to operate VTEC.. It can also be an electrical problem. But usually it's oil related. Check your oil level, make sure it's plugged in all the way and no wires are broken anywhere.
The clicking.. If you rev the engine at a dead stop can you hear the clicking?? How loud is it? Sound mechanical or electronic?
