Heh, does it kind of sound like crickets? thats the best way I know how to explain it. If so, mine does that when the engine is hot. I was told either valve tap or get your injectors looked at. I didnt do anything for mine tho. I just drive it like the econobox its meant to be and it normally doesnt happen

Re: Clicking Noise??? (1slowex)
Both my 2000 civic and my girls 2004 Accord make this noise. It happens when the clutch engages taking off, and when I'm going slow then take off. I can actually here mine do it in second gear too, when the windows are down. The noise sounds like a small "clank" noise right? I blame the cv joint on my car, and it's been doing it since about 15,000 miles. I have over 50,000 now with the same noise still and no problems yet. I've read in other places that a loose axle nut could cause a noise like this too, but that's not the case on my car, or the Accord.

Have you check your speedo cable??? On my old DA it had that same clicking noise only when im driving, if im at the light i wont here **** but once i start moving it would come again. The speedo cable connect to your tranny and when ever your car is moving even thought its not in gear it will turn, sometimes they seize up and you have to replace them. To test it drive the car going around 25 mph then turn the key to turn off the engine, then listen for the click, the click should slowly go away as your car slows down. Doesnt hurt to check, i beleive their about 50 bucks i think, havent change one since 2 years ago.
