endyne rollerwaves eagle rods ls vtec b16a2 head. head is stock w/ 82k miles. Motor is tuned w/ crome atm.

The car drives/idles great. When i turn it on its quiet and perfect. no unusual sounds or anything. But once the motor warms up, there is a clicking coming from the engine bay at idle. It sounds like its coming from under the valvecover in the #1 cylinder area or even from down by the timing belt. I have done a valve adjustment twice and i'm posoitve my clearences are perfect, that didn't change the ticking at all.

The ticking is singular. There is one tick not many, one tick... i can hear the noisy valvetrain grumbling along but once a crank go do i hear this lone tick. could this be just one lma making noise? its rather loud. audible in my car over solid motor mounts and every part inbetween me and the motor rattling off each other.

And i'm also trying to find the size of the nut that you twist to install the Golden Eagle Oil Sandwich Adapter plate.
