Default Clearing out tail lights?

I want to make my tail lights like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...&rd=1

Those are just cleared OE ones, is there a way to DIY this?

Thanks

Wow, at least they aren't altezzas

I'm not sure if you can just clear up the amber color, it's usually the entire plastic piece that IS the amber color, so it's not like it can just be scraped off.

You'll probably spend less and have an easier time just bidding on those.

No, because the plastic is died amber when it is molded.

Those are sweet taillights, same ones i wanna get for my DX. If you were to clear the amber out try nail pollish remover.

Decompose the plastic to its individual moleculs and eliminate the yellow dye atoms, its possible. It may be quicker to make the cash to afford the clear ones.

buy some all clear one and then get some stained glass spray paint and spray them red if you want to DIY.
